The Dylin

The Dylin is a masterful fusion of history and innovation. It is nestled on the Dayton Street property of the historic Reynolds Warehouse and Garage and homestead in Madison’s Capitol East District.

The Dylin’s design artfully integrates the historic Reynolds’ business and homestead into the aparthotel by transforming the business’s façade with garage doors to the aparthotel’s underground parking entrance. And the historic red brick homestead will be renovated to offer larger apartment-style units.

A newly constructed home-like building, and larger 55-unit structure, will be equipped with a full kitchen, laundry facilities and efficient online check-in. The design seamlessly connects the new construction to the renovated homestead to ensure the neighborhood charm is not disrupted.

Post-tension concrete comprises the first floor, offering both structural stability and aesthetic allure, while the remaining two floors are wood framed.
