The Help Desk Support role is responsible for help desk support to end technology users.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for all front-line IT questions for SCC personnel.
- Set up and configure new computer hardware for all SCC workstations.
- Troubleshoot and repair of computer hardware and software; to include Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, as well as Apple iOS devices and basic network troubleshooting.
- Assist users both locally and remotely.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree or higher in Information Technology, Information Systems, or any related technical field.
- 1+ years’ experience in a help desk role.
- Possess high quality intrapersonal and technological skills.
- Ability to work independently to solve end user issues.
- Ability to research issues quickly and efficiently to resolve end user issues.
- Ability to follow up with users to determine when issues are resolved.
