State Street Station

State Street Station presented a number of issues to be overcome, including a site with little to no staging areas, neighborhood homes directly across the street on two sides, and a major thoroughfare on the front side. It was complicated further by having municipality construction of city utilities and streets occurring at the same time. The building design had to take into account that an existing bank on the site was required to stay operational until its new location was completed in the building. Stevens Construction handled this difficult mission with aplomb, building a new jewel in the Village of Wauwatosa.
