Urbana

The Urbana Apartments are a trendy 5-story, 79-unit apartment building located in a high-traffic area on Madison’s west side. It features sleek finishes, large indoor and outdoor community spaces, zoom rooms, a coffee bar with a lounge, fitness center and indoor parking.

This project began at a fast pace, starting with the demolition of an old building. After quickly constructing foundations, the wood framing began within ten weeks of the project’s start.

The building is made up of affordable one- and two-bedroom units all with large kitchens, full bathrooms, in-unit laundry and outdoor patios. The exterior is made up of fiber cement siding, brick, burnished block and metal panel. One side of the building required installing masonry and decks with only 10-feet between buildings.
