March 7-8, 2023, interviewing event encourages women to explore
construction industry in both field and office roles
MADISON, Wis.—Stevens Construction Corp. is a Madison, Wisconsin-based general contractor serving the multifamily, mixed-use, senior living and student living markets in the Madison, Milwaukee and the Minneapolis areas. To bolster and enhance the company’s workforce, Stevens is hosting two days of walk-in interviews for women interested in joining the construction industry.
This event will be held during the 25th Annual Women in Construction Week. The Madison office will hold interviews on March 7 and the Milwaukee office on March 8, 2023. On both days, the corporate recruitment team will have walk-in hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for women seeking to explore positions in construction, from general labor field positions to project managers and more.
“Our diverse team is one of the factors contributing to our thriving work culture and award-winning projects,” said Corporate Recruiter Alyssa Schuster. “However, today, only one in ten construction workers is a woman. With this walk-in interview event, we want to encourage women to explore the financial benefits and rewarding aspects of working in construction within their communities.”
